Letters To The Editor

April 28, 2007
Hi,

East Islip School District once again sent out a at
taxpayer cost newsletter stating that the tax increase
was only 6.94% instead of last year's 12.96%.
Then, in very fine print at the bottom it said that an
austerity will be 3.94%  Furthermore, in this fine
print it said "this is not a threat."

I am an not a fixed income but instead no income due to
a disability. My savings under contingency of $15/month
means a lot to me.

If these Bozos on the Board and the mommies (who drive
their huge SUVs down the block to the bus stop and
leave the engines running burning $3+ dollars per
gallon of gas while they drink their $4.00 Starbucks
as their hubbies take advantage of $6/hour laborers)
continue to abuse their neighbors, EI will will
eventually be known as the land of the greedy. The
newsletter will become known as the Beacon of Poop.

I wish I could attend the budget info meeting but I
would puke if I saw this group. Hopefully, you good
guys will be able to win again with your pamphlets and
thoughts like mine. And why not look into the Board's
arrogance, especially those who have served for a
while and think they run EI?

Take Care,

Your friend.

Rate MyTeachers.com - Here's an interesting site where students can rate the teachers in their school. Visitors can post anonymously, add a teacher or add a rating on a listed teacher. No need to log in or join up. On the main page click 'Find Your School' link and type in the name of your school. Also visit the 'Wall of Shame' link where schools that have blocked access to the site are listed.  Not too surprisingly, at this writing, over 480 schools have blocked student access to RateMyTeachers.com on school computers. Wonder why?
Already in college? There's RateMyProfessors.com as well. Check it out! This is freedom of speech at work!
